Sensei Jerry Newton, the longest serving student of Sensei Les White was awarded his 5th Dan at a ceremony at the 50th Anniversary event on 19th May 2012.

At his 50th Anniversary in Aikido, Sensei Les White was awarded his Nanadan (7th Dan) endorsed by the Heads of leading UK Aikido Associations. This was well deserved having practised the art for 50 years – at the start with Senseis Nakazono, Noro  to 2nd Dan. Congratulations to Sensei Les White.
